Your journey step-by-step
Combined Train + Air trips are available should you travel between a station in Metropolitan France and an international destination (including flights to Overseas France), and your connection is less than 24 hours. To take the train, you must have your e-ticket, which you can download 30 hours before your trip. If you have not been able to download your e-ticket, SNCF terminals are available at the station.
We answer all your questions
You must respect the order in which you purchased your tickets. A penalty fee may apply if you don't. Remember to keep your train tickets and boarding passes, as you may be asked for them at transfer points.
Plan to keep your baggage with you on the train (except for journeys between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Brussels). It should not obstruct traffic in the aisle or block access to train compartments. After your train journey, you will drop them off at your flight's check-in counter at your departure terminal. After your flight, collect them from baggage claim and keep them with you for your train journey.
No, unaccompanied minors are not allowed on SNCF trains.
Yes, under certain conditions. The rules for accepting pets on the train are not the same as on the plane. You can travel with a dog or cat in a specific closed bag. Its dimensions cannot exceed 46 x 28 x 24 cm (18 x 11 x 9 ½ inches) and cannot weigh more than 6 kg/13.2 lb (pet + bag). The transport of animals on the train is subject to special pricing. You must purchase a train ticket for your pet at the SNCF ticket office when you arrive at the TGV station. For assistance dogs of visually impaired passengers, muzzles are not mandatory.
If you need special assistance, you must let us know at least 48 hours before your trip. The Train + Air teams will then activate the Access Plus service. If you have a wheelchair, you and your companion will travel in 1st class, regardless of your reservation class.
